The streaming upgrade is not only for Android, but also other devices belonging to Sony like PlayStation 3, Desktop etc. This upgrade comes due to growing number of demand for streaming music service and provide better quality.
Music Unlimited (formerly Qriocity) trade name for Sony Corporation for its music streaming service. As of Jan 2012 Music Unlimited has over 1 million active users and 15 million songs.
