Kindle Fire grabs 33 % of US Tablet Market (Android OS)
Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Fire HD grabs 33% of all U.S. Android tablets. Barnes & Noble Nook takes 10%, Samsung’s Galaxy tablets at 9% and the Nexus 7 at 8%.
As per Localytics, "Should [Amazon] get the distribution part right, their US success suggests they could quickly dominate the Android tablet market worldwide,"
